Tay Tian, known as Lil Tay, recently stirred controversy by labeling women over 25 who work 9-to-5 jobs as “failures.” The 18-year-old internet star, who joined OnlyFans in July, made these remarks to encourage others to follow her path to quick wealth.
“If you’re over 25 and still working a 9-to-5, you are a failure,” Tian stated boldly. “By then, you should’ve already made your bag.” She suggested that women should join OnlyFans to achieve financial success, dismissing societal judgment.

Tian’s comments didn’t stop there. She revealed that her family disowned her after she joined the adult platform, forcing her to move out. “They don’t talk to me anymore,” she said, adding defiantly, “I can literally buy their whole life if I wanted to.”
The social media star also rejected formal education, claiming, “Harvard was never gonna help me make eight figures.” Instead, she “dropped the link” to her OnlyFans account, prioritizing quick earnings over traditional academic routes.

Her statements sparked backlash, particularly from women proud of their careers. One nurse commented, “Being a nurse means I’m a failure? I treat cancer patients, and I don’t think they’d agree.” Others accused Tian of ragebaiting for attention.
Critics continued to pile on, with one user stating, “Imagine calling people failures when your entire life is an embarrassment.” Another added, “Sorry, but I’m going to college. Your journey isn’t everyone’s.”

Tian claimed she earned over $1 million in just three hours after launching her OnlyFans on her 18th birthday. She boasted on Instagram, “We broke the f**k out of that [OnlyFans] record,” promoting exclusive content available for 24 hours.
Her rise to fame began in 2018 at age 10, when she posted foul-mouthed skits flaunting luxury cars and designer clothes. Calling herself “the youngest flexer of the century,” she claimed her bathroom fixtures cost more than most people’s rent.
Tian’s early videos also drew controversy. Her mother quit her job after using her boss’s Mercedes as a prop in one skit, and Snoop Dogg publicly criticized Tian, saying she should focus on being a kid, not an adult.
In 2023, Tian made headlines when a false statement about her and her brother’s death appeared on her Instagram.
She later clarified that her account was compromised, describing the ordeal as “traumatizing.”
The debate around Tian’s comments reflects a broader discussion about career paths and platforms like OnlyFans.

Another creator, Bonnie Blue, also stirred controversy by leaving her office job for adult content, claiming earnings of up to £1.5 million monthly.
