British Man Defies Odds, Survives Devastating Air India Crash in Seat 11A

In a stunning turn of events, a British man miraculously survived a catastrophic Air India plane crash that occurred on June 12 in Ahmedabad, India.

The Boeing 787 Dreamliner, en route to Gatwick Airport in the UK, crashed into a residential building housing doctors’ accommodations shortly after departing from Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel International Airport.

Initial reports from Ahmedabad Police Commissioner GS Malik had indicated no survivors, but one man, seated in seat 11A, was found alive and is now receiving hospital treatment.

The survivor, identified as Vishwash Kumar Ramesh, recounted the harrowing experience to the Hindustan Times. “Just 30 seconds after takeoff, I heard a loud noise, and then the plane went down. It happened so fast,” he said. “When I came to, there were bodies everywhere. I was terrified, but I got up and ran.”

Surrounded by plane wreckage, Ramesh sustained impact injuries to his chest, eyes, and feet. A rescuer quickly escorted him to an ambulance for medical attention.

The crash’s death toll remains uncertain, as the plane struck a densely populated area. Authorities are still investigating, and further details are expected to emerge. This remarkable survival story has captivated attention amid the tragedy.
