A Georgia court has handed down a 100-year prison sentence without parole to a gay couple for the rape of their two adopted sons with special needs.
The probe uncovered systematic abuse and the creation of child sexual exploitation material.
In Walton County, William Dale Zulock and Zachary Zulock were convicted of turning their home into a site of unimaginable torment.
They presented an image of a happy family on social media while secretly assaulting the boys and recording the acts.
The couple even allegedly shared the children with others for further exploitation.
“These two Defendants truly created a house of horrors and put their extremely dark desires above everything and everyone else,” said District Attorney Randy McGinley.
He spoke to WSB-TV about the case’s darkness.
The prosecutor praised the victims’ resilience, noting, “However, the depth of the Defendants’ depravity, which is as deep as it gets, is not greater than the resolve of those that fought for justice and the strength of the victims in this in this case.”
He highlighted the inspiring strength shown by the two young boys over two years.
“The resolve I have seen from these two young victims over the last two years is truly inspiring,” McGinley added, per reports.
The case echoed quotes from the New York Post on the “house of horrors.”
It began in 2022 when Walton County deputies learned of child sexual abuse material uploaded to a Google account.
During the investigation, authorities contacted Hunter Lawless, who admitted getting the content from Zachary Zulock.
Further digs revealed damning proof against Zachary and William Zulock, the married pair.
The men had been exploiting their adopted sons, now aged 12 and 10.
Before adopting, Zachary faced 2011 accusations of raping a 14-year-old boy in the same county, but the case closed with minimal probe.
The Zulocks, arrested in 2022, pleaded guilty to charges including aggravated sodomy, sexual exploitation of children, and molestation.
Their social media posts, like Instagram shots of the family, masked the abuse.
One post showed William with the boys; another featured the couple together.
The sentences ensure no parole, sealing their fate for the crimes against vulnerable kids.
This outcome underscores justice for the survivors in a deeply disturbing saga.
